What is (CAD)?

Computer Aided Design (CAD) is the modeling of physical systems on computer, allowing both interactive and automatic analysis of design variants, and the expression of designs in a form suitable for manufacturing.

What is (CAM)?

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) is the use of computer softwares and hardwares in the translation of Computer Aided Design (CAD) into manufacturing instructions for numerical controlled machine tools.

Why use (CAD/CAM) in the Jewelry?

Today staying ahead of competition is harder than ever. (CAD/CAM) has made it beneficial in the jewelry industry because of its unlimited modeling capabilities. It will bring your creation to reality, at the control of your fingertips.

What (CAD) Softwares do you use?

Our jewelry designing tools are (3Design-Cad, Rhinoceros & Matrix). (Magics) used for STL fixing, also we take advantage of sculpting strength of (Zbrush), 3D power of (Cinema-4D), in addition to (Corel-Draw & photoshop).

What (CAM) Machine do you use?

A micro (RP) system called (Solidscape T76+) we employed to produce the most intricate fine (CAD) designs. (T76+) utilizes new Smooth Curvature Printing technology (SCP) to provide more precision & best surface finish.

How much do you charge for your (CAD/CAM) service?

This depends upon the sophistication of the design. Our fees are based on an hourly rate, either (CAD) or (CAM) services are charged with USD 5 per hour. We'll be happy to e-mail us a picture requesting an estimate quote.

What is the Material that your machine uses for building?

Our machine builds models in wax, featuring excellent lost wax casting quality (fast melt out, no ash or residue, no thermal expansion). Please, note that,  our waxes is quite fragile and need to be handled with extreme care.

Can you cast our models on metal and how much it will cost?

We advice to cast (outsourced) your models on metal, to avoid accidental wax cracking during shipping stages. We charge USD 0.5 per/gr as casting labor plus the price of metal (based on metal market on date of shipment).

What is your approximate turnaround time?

(CAD) design, upon complexity, will range from 1 to 3 w/days, once it is approved, allow 2 w/days for prototyping  & an additional 2 w/days if casting is requested. shipping delivery time varies depending on delivery destination.

Do you accept files for 3D printing, which types of files are accepted?

Yes definitely. We accept most 3D files such as: Rhinoceros, Matrix, 3Design, JewelCAD, Artcam, 3Dmax, DXF, STL and SLC. We will check the integrity of your model on receipt and notify you before proceeding.

How do we send our files to you?

You are welcome to simply E-mail your files to us, as long as the files do not exceed 10 Mb. Otherwise, we will provide you with a temporary user code and password to log on to our FTP server, and send your files securely.
